Vumelo sets these cookies, all of which are essential to signing in and to security:

• An authentication and session cookie that keeps you signed in (the Supabase auth cookie).
• A session cookie for the pre-launch access gate that protects the site during private review.
• For operators, an admin session cookie that keeps a signed-in admin session open.

Each of these is set as HttpOnly, so it cannot be read by page scripts, and is used only to keep your session working and secure.

You cannot sign in or stay signed in without these cookies, so they are strictly necessary to provide the service you asked for. POPIA and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA) do not require consent for strictly necessary cookies, which is why we do not show a cookie banner or ask you to accept cookies.

We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, or third-party analytics cookies. If that ever changes, we will ask for your consent first for any non-essential cookie, before it is set.

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking the essential cookies above will stop you from signing in and using Vumelo, because the service has no way to keep your session open without them.
